In fact today most courteous photographers use tripod that's linked to camera and also the remote controlled clicker so there isn't any interference from any motion. Most people prefer to stay with the original ceiling or wall fixtures for lights and even those that want to experiment would prefer to the light stayed invest one place and then for any convenience with moving it around will just pass over their heads.  In addition, the tripod design implies that not simply will the screen always be level but that it may supply in many different locations.
