I am the new girl
For what it is price, I hope I don't find yourself in Bruges, either. Starring Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell, and Ralph Fiennes. Directed by Martin McDonagh.
POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING: You have been warned.
A theatre response can often inform how good or dangerous a film was, it doesn't matter what opinion I could have. The reaction from this film was silence. Maybe it is the area and the movies we have grown up on here, or perhaps we didn't know the way to gauge it. There are issues I appreciated about this movie, and things I was not sure of.
Read my review for other movie here http://soilandhealth.org/wp-includes/pages/bad_movies_of_the_1960_s___paint_your_wagon____review_by_123movies.html .
The story is about Ken (Gleeson) a pro hit-man and his new partner Ray (Farrell). After a job in killing a priest gets botched (a baby gets shot in the head) each are told by their boss Harry (Fiennes) to get to Bruges. There Ken takes within the scenery and does the vacationer thing while Ray tries discovering methods of getting his kicks and at the identical time, battling the inner demon of by chance killing a kid. They're to be there for two weeks till their employer decides what to do. Ray walks round and gets thinking about a movie being shot there due to a) a cute lady he desires to be with and a couple of) the film has a dwarf. Complications happen when Harry calls Ken and tells him to off Ray the next day. When Ken begins to undergo with killing Ray, Ray is about to commit suicide. This changes things and Harry travels to Bruges, hell-bent on killing Ray and Ken.
This movie begins sluggish, but begins picking up midway by way of. Gleeson, Farrell, and Fiennes do nicely because the characters they have to play. The only actual drawback I had with the movie is... I appreciated it, however cannot say that I loved it. There are humorous moments and I can't fault the film for having a narrative (which is a grievance I actually have on a lot of films). It's just that there was somberness as everybody walked out of the theatre. Maybe it wants a second viewing.
Reason to see this movie: it is a totally different type of hitman "darkish comedy." Reason to not see this movie: you are not into indie/foreign or thinking films. Or hitman motion pictures.
